Agreement for Development of the Higher Education in Bujanovac

The Mayor of Bujanovac Nagip Arifi and the Dean of the Subotica Faculty of Economics, the University of Novi Sad Nenad Vunjak signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Belgrade today, which creates basis for the long-term development and sustainability of the higher education in Bujanovac. The Memorandum is one of the preconditions for the approval of the financial support for the construction of the building for a higher education institution in this municipality. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Tomislav Jovanović, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia Michael Davenport, the Head of OSCE Mission to the Republic of Serbia Peter Burkhard, the president of the Coordination Body of the Government of Serbia for the municipalities Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa Zoran Stanković and the Manager of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Graeme Tyndall.
