Promotion of Vranje to Attract New Investments
07 November 2013, VranjeFrom now on, the City of Vranje can present the advantages for doing business it offers in a new promotional publication “Vranje, the Right Place for Your Investment“, developed as part of this city’s branding project financially supported by the European Union and Government of Switzerland through the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme EU PROGRES.
As part of the project “Promotion of the City of Vranje as Investment Friendly City”, 5,500 promotional brochures in Serbian, English, Italian, and German, as well as additional promotional materials were developed. Furthermore, Android and iPhone applications for smart mobile phones were developed to provide easy access to information on the official website of the city. All this will enable the representatives of Vranje to present the advantages of the city at fairs and other investor gatherings.
“The City Administration and EU PROGRESS share a common development vision, and this project will help to attract investors who could start their businesses in Vranje. Now we can show to embassy representatives through a clear and content rich publication what infrastructure, facilities and possibilities can be expected by investors in Vranje; and attracting new investors is the proper way to create jobs,“ said the Mayor of Vranje Zoran Antić.
“Vranje recognizes that the process of creating conditions for attracting investors is a very complex one, and promoting the investment environment is just part of it. There is no second chance to make the first impression, particularly at business events, and this new publication provides clear, brief and useful information on investment prospects,“ said Deputy EU PROGRES Manager Marko Vujacić.
The Vranje Branding Project was funded by the European Union and Government of Switzerland through EU PROGRES with about 12,000 Euro.
