Fall in Love with Novi Pazar

The city of Novi Pazar has presented today the slogan “Fall in Love with Novi Pazar“ and the logo that will mark the future implementation of the project “Novi Pazar Way of Living” funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland through the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme EU PROGRES. This project aims to promote the city of Novi Pazar as a unique place of harmonious diversity, rich cultural and historical offer and culinary tradition, with a special emphasis on Novi Pazar as the city of the youth and an ideal tourist destination for all those who wish to have a good time.

Blace Obtained Its First Tourist Info Centre

The first tourist information centre was opened today in the municipality of Blace, within the project “Blace, Plum Festival” that was financially supported by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland through the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – EU PROGRES. The Info Centre will help visitors to become familiarized in a high quality manner with the tourist offer of this municipality belonging to Toplica District. Blace municipality is the home of the highest number of plum trees per inhabitant in Serbia – two million trees of this fruit’s different varieties are planted on some 5,000 hectares of land. Thus, the “Blace, Plum Festival” project will contribute to branding of this municipality as a plum growing area.

Good Governance - The new buzz words

Reaching up to thousands of people from Ivanjica and Novi Pazar through Kuršumlija, Blace and Prokuplje all the way to Vranje, Bujanovac and Preševo, education, activation, advocacy, setting up new practices and hundreds of media reports, all of this contributed to making good governance buzz words in 2012.
