Moving Forward in South and South West Serbia

Employment of 300 people, creation of a basis for generating additional 3,000 new jobs in the next five years and helping to attract investments of at least 30 million Euros in South and South West Serbia are just some of the key results that the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme EU PROGRES accomplished in the four years by implementing 255 projects with financial support from the European Union, Government of Switzerland, Government of Serbia and 25 local governments taking part in the implementation.

Through New Experiences Faster to the Construction Permits

During the study tour to the One Stop Shop for Issuance of Construction Permits in Leskovac, 37 representatives from the work groups for the establishment of these offices in Vranje, Novi Pazar and Ivanjica exchanged their experiences and strenghtened intermunicipal cooperation. The establishment of the One Stop Shops in these four local self-governments was funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland through the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme EU PROGRES with 157,150 Euros.
40 Workers Employed in the Medveđa Pellet Factory

The factory for the production of pellet in Medveđa “Jablanica Eko”, the reconstruction of which was funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland through the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme EU PROGRES, has become operational, employing 40 workers.
