The one-day tournament “All Together to Victory”, with participation of basketball teams from Jablanica and Pcinja districts, was held for the first time as part of a larger project with the same name. The aim of the project is to demonstrate to young generations in Bujanovac that cultural differences should be accepted as an asset.
The European Union and the Government of Switzerland will allocate 170,000 Euros for the implementation of twenty small-scale projects in South Serbia via the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme PROGRES.
Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia H.E. Erwin Hofer and Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia Mr. Adriano Martins presented the agreements on the allocation of grants for the implementation of twenty small-scale projects in South West Serbia during their visit to Novi Pazar today.
The European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – PROGRES organised seminars in Novi Pazar and Vranje in early February 2011 on topic “What is and Why We Need Good Governance”.
