Students Antigona Sulja from the “Nikola Tesla” Technical School in Medveđa, Dalida Muškić from the Prijepolje and Danilo Cerović from the Prokuplje High Schools are the winners of the art competition for the 2012 Calendar of the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme - EU PROGRES.
Art Competition for the New Years EU PROGRES Calendar Opened

European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – PROGRES, opened the art competition for high school students from 25 municipalities in South and South-West Serbia, with the theme “Serbia – Embrace of Civilisations”. The competition supporting young artistic talents is organised with the aim to promote cultural, ethnic, traditional and religious differences as Serbian and European values.

Dance and Cooperation Festival in the Balkans

By forming “the longest kolo[1]”, led by the Mayor of Bosilegrad Municipality Vladimir Zaharijev, the participants of the international folklore festival “Bosilegrad Singing and Dancing” symbolically sent the message of peace and cooperation among nations living in the Balkans. There were representatives of the Orthodox and Islamic religions in the kolo, together with all national minorities living in Bosilegrad, as well as other festival guests.
