First working meeting under the umbrella of “Participatory budgeting†project

A working meeting was held in Kraljevo for the representatives of budget departments in 11 local self governments included in this phase of the project, under the umbrella of “Participatory budgeting” project ran in 25 municipalities and cities in the South and South West Serbia by EU PROGRES and BIRN Serbia, with the financial support of European Union and Government of Switzerland.
Good Governance Principles in 25 Municipalities

European Partnership with Municipalities Programme - EU PROGRES started a campaign “I want...because I live here” with a public debate held in Novi Pazar on April 12. The goal of the campaign and the programme is to promote good governance principles in 25 municipalities in the South and South West Serbia. This is the first debate in a series of numerous activities within a six-month campaign.
New EU PROGRES Call for Proposals for Partnership Projects between Municipalities and Civil Society Organisations

The European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – EU PROGRES has published its second call for proposals within the Citizens Involvement Fund to support projects designed in partnership between local self-governments and civil society organisations and aimed at the economic empowerment of vulnerable groups in South and South West Serbia. The Programme donors, the European Union and the Government of Switzerland, have approved thirty million dinars for this activity. The details of the second call for proposals within the Citizens Involvement Fund were presented at workshops in Vranje, Leskovac and Sjenica.
Free Legal Aid for Novi Pazar Residents

The implementation of the project Establishment of Citizens Advisory Service started with signing the MoU between the European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – PROGRES and the Sandzak Human Rights Committee. This project will create conditions for an effective, efficient and sustainable free legal aid system and advisory services available to all Novi Pazar residents.
